“Eliminate Impossibility”

Hello All! My name is Ryan Kneeland, Owner and Creator of Kneeland Designs based in Southern California. I am originally from a small town in the Central Valley and have since lived in many beautiful cities and towns in this state; mainly in Northern CA and up and down the Central Coast. These areas have given me a great appreciation for the beauty of nature, an equal love for the ocean and mountains, and an inherent need to be out in the sun as much as possible. I think these roots lend heavily to my style as an artist. As I craft each project I take pride in paying special attention to the organic details and shapes that I borrow from the world around me and incorporate into my work.

I created this company as an outlet to bring my unique style of art to the world of high-end custom fine woodwork. Though I started honing my skills in metalwork and fabrication, I eventually found woodworking and haven’t looked back since. Tinkering in the garage with my older brother soon became a passion that I immersed myself in. That seed has since grown into a brand that I am extremely proud of. Through the years I have met amazing people and have had opportunities to work on projects I could have only dreamed of. Still, I truly feel I am just scraping the surface!

I would love to add you, your family, or your business to this ongoing adventure! The projects I complete are all unique, one of a kind, 100% handmade works of art that I take an extreme amount of pride in completing. From the second we start the process my clients become part of the Kneeland Designs family. I do anything and everything in my power to make the piece fit the space and emotion that we are shooting for. The motto of KD is “Eliminate Impossibility”; an idea I strive to commit to everyday I step foot into the shop!
